From the darkness of the days
You've brought the most beautiful image

To our thirsty fields, to our cold homes
To our hearts abandoned from the darkness of the days
You planted at our doors flowers and poems
And when the pot of our soil blessed you
With Cherbel and Rafca and St. Kafifan (the first two are the names of Maronite saints, the third I can't verify but probably also Maronite saint)
A blue sky emptied on Lebanon
Pleading, we say pray with us at once
